At thirty minutes prior to the ceremony at the Williamson’s Chapel United Methodist Church, the power was down. Sindy and her ladies were busy getting ready, and we were making contingency plans, staying optimistic. Then, at 15 minutes before the ceremony, the electrical infrastructure gods smiled on us! We were back in business. After a minor celebration, I snapped some pictures of a more relaxed group, the church fired up the organ, and everything proceeded on schedule. They had a beautiful ceremony with family and friends in attendance, and I had the opportunity to spend a little time with Sindy, Ted, and the beautiful Jaguar XK convertible parked out front.
They are the cutest couple, catching each other’s eyes throughout the night as they shared a wonderful dinner at the North Harbor Club in Davidson, NC. There were many friends and colleagues there, but it felt like a big family gathering. While being elegant and classy, the reserved room at the restaurant remained casual and home-like. I had such a great time working with these two, and I thank them for making me feel like part of the family.
